IC Sciences

The Emergent Intelligence Lab ("EI Lab") translates the mission and science of IC Sciences and its wholly owned operating companies into designs, prototypes, and implementations of medical informatics instruments. The Lab serves as the scientific and technologic innovation and development nucleus for IC Sciences, and performs both research and development in IT solutions to real healthcare challenges in physician-guided, patient centered, informed clinical care. The Lab designs and develops intellectual property, with an approach that is interdisciplinary, integrative, and experimental, which results in Best in Context^SM solutions architecture and design. Similarly, the Lab leverages the resources and market perspectives of the other IC Sciences companies to inform its solutions delivery.

IC Sciences Corporation has been serving the clinical practice of medicine since 1999. The EI Lab's resources capitalize on IC Science's commitment to the Company's clients and bring an adaptive, agile, scientific, and technical focus on Internet-based, e-health performance that comes from creating new sources of long-term value. The EI Lab was a spin-off of NorthPoint Domain as of 2007, and historically the EI Lab's work has built on a solid foundation of advisory services and solutions development, based on a strong foundation in healthcare and e-health industry expertise. The Lab has focused its intellectual capital in three distinct areas: healthcare, the Internet and related technologies, and clinical practice value creation. EI Lab has a track record of delivering this intellectual capital:

• In close coordination with NorthPoint Domain — EI Lab develops and supports the underlying clinical practice solutions IP and supports NorthPoint in client development and delivery.
• In close coordination with the Endovascular Forum — EI Lab supports development of the world's largest endovascular community site in the development of its next generation functionality. The Endovascular Forum is comprised of interventional radiologists, vascular surgeons, interventional cardiologists, vascular specialists, fellows, techs, practice managers and nurses.
• In close coordination with IC Sciences Development Corp — EI Lab provides advisory services and diligence support from a technology and operations perspective.
