Offerings & Approach

As a research, design, and development "incubator" for intelligent medical informatics systems and communities, EI Lab will generate service revenues for contracted system development projects and licensing revenues from intellectual property derived from novel technologies and solutions discovered and developed within the lab. The EI Lab's efforts will support the family of companies within IC Sciences and the companies or practices targeted by those IC Science businesses.

Examples of the types of systems the EI Lab develops include but are not limited to:

• "Medical Smart Systems" for providers that apply advanced user interfaces, intelligent algorithms, dynamic adaptability features, and smart data capture to support informed clinical care delivery;
• Communities that leverage the principles of Web 2.0 and 3.0 and Healthcare 2.0 for specialty providers to interact and inform each other, for industry to listen and learn, and for patients to provide mutual support of individual clinical context and provider oversight; and
• Licensable solutions for content delivery, management, and tracking for the dissemination and management of in-context medical information.
